Warranty New Computers, Notebooks And Accessories: All new equipment will carry the stated manufacturers warranty as detailed in their literature.  Refurbished machines shall also carry the same warranty. A minimum 90 day warranty applies to any new custom or "refurbished" machines and or accesories. Extended warranties are available.

Warranty (Labor): J & S Computers will warranty all labor performed for the customer for a period of 14 days. Any work performed that has been deemed insufficient, incomplete, and/or in error will be rectified at no additional cost to the customer in the form of a secondary visit.

Warranty (Parts): All new parts will carry the same manufacturers warranty as detailed in their literature.  Refurbished parts shall also carry the same warranty. Used parts will be warranted by J & S Computers for a period of 90 days. J & S Computers assumes no liability or guarantee of any parts provided by the customer and installed by J & S Computers. Additionally, customer provided parts shall void all warranties provided by J & S Computers.

Standard Service: J & S Computers is NOT a 24/7 service. There is 1 hr. minimum charge at the standard hourly rate for in shop service.  $49.99

After Hours Service: Any service request placed after 5pm CST M-F for same day service is considered emergency service. There is a minimum charge of $79.99 and then standard hourly rate applies.

Weekend Service: Any service request on Saturday or Sunday is considered also as a emergency. These are answered at our discretion and  based on our techs availability! There is a minimum charge of $109.99 and then the standard hourly rate for in shop service applies!.

Customer Levels: We have no levels!  We treat all our customers on a first come, first served basis!

24 Hour Cancellation: Customers may cancel service within 24 hours of a scheduled appointment. A standard  "NO SHOW" fee of $ 25.00 will be charged after this period. This fee may be applied to a rescheduled service call in some circumstances.

Customer no shows: If the customer is not available or is not on-site upon the technicians’ arrival for service, the minimum charge for service shall still apply. If the service is rescheduled, half of this charge shall be applied to the next service.

Credit Terms: J & S Computers accepts checks, cash,  cashiers checks, Paypal and money orders only! By accepting and signing your repair reciept/work order you agree and promise to fulfill your payment obligations as detailed in this agreement. All service calls include a $20 non-refundable setup fee.

Returned Checks: All returned checks shall carry a $35 returned check fee.  Additionally, $15 late charge will be assessed per month until the debt is paid in full.

Notice Of  Right Of  Mechanics Lien And Or Abandonment Of Customer Property : J & S Computers, shall have and enforce it rights under civil statute, to secure a lien over any property left in our poassesion past 30 days for non payment of debts justly owed under for services rendered. The customers account balance must be paid before the end of 30 days. We extend "NO GRACE PERIOD". If the customer account is settled before the 30th day, said lein will be lifted and property will be released. If account is not settled, J & S Computers, shall have the right to claim and dispose of, as it sees fit, any and all customers property left "unclaimed" in our possesion more then 30 days!  We DO NOT provide storage services!

Receiving Equipment: J & S Computers, shall assume no liability of equipment removed from jobsite. Loss and/or damage of equipment shall be the sole liability of the customer.

Offsite Service:  If offsite service is necessary, the technician shall obtain an equipment release signature and issue the customer an equipment intake receipt . The customer releases J & S Computers from any liability for damage and/or loss.

Release Of Liability: By signing the equipment release form you affirmatively release and hold harmless J & S Computers and/or its third party service provider from and against any loss, liability, or damage that you or the owner may suffer, including but not limited to any loss of any data and the non-functioning of any component or element of your equipment resulting from J & S Computers and/or its third party service provider's agents, partners and/or third party service providers, regardless of the warranties, disclaimers and waivers particular service and shall constitute liquidated damages and are a reasonable estimate of damages to you.

Adult Must Be Present:  For on-site services, a person of at least 18 years of age must be present during the entire time period services are provided. In the absence of an adult it shall be considered a customer no-show. A minimum service charge shall be applied.

Access: The J & S Computers technician must receive full access to the equipment to be serviced, access to your residence, your consent and cooperation to enter your residence or business, and a safe working environment, working space and electrical power. If a J & S Computers technician arrives at the scheduled service time and determines that he/she does not reasonably have the access, cooperation, or safe working area described in the previous sentence, then services may be denied and a minimum service charge will be J & S Computers assessed.
