We made the decision to become an exclusive Linux builder in June of 2007.
We believe PCLinuxOS is the "Primo" install of over 16 different linux distros
we researched before we chose it for our own PCs and the other workstations
in our shop. We now install what we presently consider to be the top linux
operating system. We consider PCLinuxOS Final to be at the very top of our

Linux distro, and the recent stumble of Microsofts' Vista operating system…
we envision Linux grabbing a very substantial share of the desktop operating
environment. Not only is it easy to use, it’s also free! Besides that,
all the apps you need for every day operations are included in the OS, and
they are free as well! And yes that even includes your office software package!
If you want to save yourself time, headaches, and apprx. $500 - $700 we recommend
you consider moving to PCLinuxOS.
Our second Linux offering is Ubuntu. It offers several different flavors(all
currently free) which lets users benefit in a variety of desktop enviroments.
We keep very high standards when it come to our D.A.W. builds. So we are
also very partial to the gains Ubuntu Studio and Musix have made their Operating
Systems, since audio is "close to our hearts" But remember our tests and
choices are purely subjective. We will continue our rigorous testing of course!
While J and S continues to offer quality service on existing Microsoft
customers systems and support contracts, It 's now our aim to migrate them
to Linux as they replace hardware or renew support contracts. We are complete
converts, no doubt, so call us and excercise your
"FREEDOM OF CHOICE!" today! We now use
100% Open Source software to run our business,
shop and personal computers. We are also here to lend support to the
Nashville Linux Users'

New Computers, Notebooks And Accessories:

new equipment will carry the stated manufacturers warranty as detailed in
their literature. Refurbished machines shall also carry the same warranty.
A minimum 90 day warranty applies to any new custom or "refurbished" machines
and or accesories. Extended warranties are available.
