Turn Those Dusty Old Tapes into Beautiful DVDs
Look, we've all got a box somewhere of our most precious memories captured on videotape. From school recitals, to weddings, to vacations, to birthdays and more, we've taken hours of footage to capture those special moments in our lives.

This service is for the transfer of your VHS tapes to the DVD format on DVD disc. Multiple tapes can be combined onto a single 2 hour DVD.

Convenient and Easy to Use Menus
Your new DVD will contain DVD Menus and Chapter stops.

This makes it easier for you to jump right to the moment you want to see on your new DVD. Other services make chapters indescriminetly every 5 or 10 minutes. We understand however, that many Home Movies are shot on the same source tape, and not always in 5 or 10 minute intervals. We will work to achieve the best possible results for you.

Your new DVD will come in a case for the safe storage and protection of your new DVD. Included with the case is a cover with a title of your choosing on the front!

Save Precious Memories Before They Are Lost FOREVER !

VHS Tapes Won't Last Forever!
Its just a fact of life that those VHS Tapes with our precious lifes memories on them use fragile magnetic tape that can get caught inside your VCR and destroyed. We've all lost a movie or two to a glitch in our VCR, imagine the tragedy of losing your families special moments to such an accident. Not only can tapes be LOST when trying to view them, they can be left in the sun and warp (they are just plastic after all), stepped on and broken. And perhaps worst of all, something that shocked me, YOUR TAPES CAN FALL APART JUST SITTING IN A BOX. Read on:

Tapes Degrade Whether You View Them Or Not
VHS Tapes use Magnetic Tape that breaks down over time. Imagine a piece of adhesive tape with tiny stones stuck to it. Those tiny stones are little pieces of metal that your VCR reads to display video and make sound. After time, EVEN IF YOU DON"T USE THEM, VHS Tapes lose their "stickiness" and the stones shift, move, or fall off. I used to think my tapes were safe in a box for years, until I read a technical article that explained what happens to Magnetic tapes in storage (the author explained it better than I could :). After first hearing about this, I checked through dozens of tapes I had sitting around. Most all of mine were fine, showing just a little glitch here and there. But several were severely marred, and one was completely useless. All those memories I thought were safe, that I'd taken every precaution to protect, were gone forever. After that, I began transferring all my VHS to DVD.

How Long Does It Take for Tapes to Go Bad?
Experts don't agree on exactly how long it takes for a VHS Tape to degrade completely. But most, if not all, agree on one thing, Your Tapes are Degrading RIGHT NOW, and its only going to get worse. My tapes were only five years old when they were marred with the ravages of age. Depending on the quality of tape you use and how you store them, and how many times you watch them, yours could degrade sooner than that! Why take the risk? Your memories are important to you, your family, to your children. Let us help you protect those memories by transferring them to DVD.

We Can Transfer Your VHS Tape(s) to DVD!

Price For First Hour Of Edited Video
Here is a simple description of the process with an example of possible pricing. The total number of hours it takes to capture and edit each tape (normally 1 to 1.5 hours each) can vary. Then each edited project must be laid out, converted , simple editing, and then burned to your new DVD (apprx .5 to 1.0 hours). So your cost is determined by:

First  60 minutes of videotape converted (minimum charge)

$35.00

each additional 30 minutes of videotape converted(if needed)

$17.50

plus additional copies desired (if any)

$8.50

plus shipping to us

$1.50

to return shipping of your tape and new DVD

$6.50

plus return insurance

$2.00

Add the total hours footage, shipping, additional copies if desired , plus insurance, return shipping and insurance to figure your  apprx. total cost.

equals your Total.

Bottom line It depends on how much footage is on your tapes and how long it takes me to edit it. Extra DVD copies are $8.50 each. Discounts for volume orders! You can phone us for more exact pricing! Call: 615-357-2030
